1) Starting in 2026, the July Need A Life draft will start on the Tuesday after the mlb draft.

2) Starting in 2026, eligibility for the supplemental drafts will be whoever is on the Scoresheet NL player list.

In even numbered years, the lower numbered team will draft first in odd
rounds and the higher numbered team will draft first in even rounds.  The lower
numbered team goes first in rounds 9,11,13,15,17 etc.


Draft dates
Waiver draft protection lists are due on 12/12/2025
Waiver draft starts on 12/15/2025

The protection list date is 2/01/2026 at 9 AM (ET).  The protected
lists will go out that evening.  The draft will start on 2/8/2026

Waiver Draft
The waiver protected  list should consist of 10 non-rookie & non-sophomores currently on your team.  
Any non-rookie & non-sophomore on a roster but not a protected list is eligible to be chosen.


Supplemental Schedule
We're going to have 5 2-person supplementals. 

The 1st supplemental will be in the same order as the first two
rounds of the spring draft.

The 2nd through 5th supplementals will be snake based on the
previous week's standings.

Cutoff for eligibility
We'll use the February 1 as the cutoff for eligibility.  I'll come up 
with a list of guys that become eligible between the issuing of the 
Scoresheet list and the actual start of the draft.
